This week on Crossing The Line, there are 10,000 Palestinians that live inside Israel, but those I speak of are not Palestinian Israelis residing in '48, these Palestinians live inside Israeli prisons; men, women, and children, many held without charge, denied access to lawyers or family, and some reporting being tortured at the hands of their jailers. Today we'll speak to Lisa Hajjar an advocate and law professor about Israel's dubious record of torture and the Israeli prison system towards Palestinians.

Also this week, we'll speak to a Palestinian human rights activist living in Gaza who spent 15 years of his life inside an Israeli jail. On this week's show, he'll share his own experiences of incarceration.

We'll speak with Palestinian journalist Rami Almeghari about the current situation on the ground.

Also this week, with this new label attached to the Strip what does this mean for the more than 200,000 school children who just began school in the past month, as well as the fate of university students? We'll hear from Dr. George Bisharat, professor of law at Hastings College about educational realities for not only children and young adults in Gaza, but also in the West Bank.

This week on Crossing The Line, after two long years the village of Bil'in received a small victory from the Israeli High Court, the apartheid wall that was scheduled to run through most of the town's land will be rerouted.

This change came as a result of the constant protest of the village's residents, Israeli and international activists using non-violent means. But can non-violence work on the whole of the occupation? We'll speak to Huwaida Arraf a Palestinian American attorney and activist about non-violence it's history and effectiveness in Palestine.

On this special addition of Crossing The Line, we remember El Hajj Malik El Shabaaz, Malcolm X; whom was gunned down by assailants in The Audubon Ballroom foty-two years ago this past week;  his tireless work to free all oppressed peoples. In one of his most famous speeches, Message To The Grassroots, Malcolm extols the virtues and obligations of all people of color to rise up against global empire. His word ring true today as they did more than forty years ago.
