Also this week, more residents from the Gaza Strip are left stranded at the Egyptian/Rafah crossing trying to get home, while others are refused entry into the West Bank, Israel, Egypt, and Jordan for urgent medical treatment; with the continued siege imposed by the quartet, tensions between supporters of Hamas and Fatah, and the ongoing killings by the Israeli Occupation Forces, how is life for the residents on the ground? We'll talk with Mohammed Omer a Palestinian journalist and resident of Rafah refugee camp about the situation.

This week on Crossing The Line, the Israeli Occupation Forces carried out more extra-judicial assassinations in the Gaza Strip killing at least 11 Palestinians in a 24 hour period last week, and Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak is threatening to re-invade Gaza after Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert labeled Gaza a "hostile entity." We'll speak with Palestinian journalist Rami Almeghari about the current situation on the ground.

Also this week, with this new label attached to the Strip what does this mean for the more than 200,000 school children who just began school in the past month, as well as the fate of university students? We'll hear from Dr. George Bisharat, professor of law at Hastings College about educational realities for not only children and young adults in Gaza, but also in the West Bank.
